Marina Miron

Dr. Marina Miron is working on a British Academy-funded project with Prof D Gioe, dealing with the threat of information war emanating from Russia and China and how to counter the current techniques and tools used by those actors, including AI and cyber “weapons." In addition to the information war, she researches Russian military doctrinal thinking, including doctrines for different branches of the Armed Forces and available and prospective weapons systems, with a particular focus on space assets and electronic warfare systems. Further, Dr. Miron has been working on several UK MoD projects related to human augmentation in the UK Armed Forces and assessing an ethical framework for introducing such technologies in a contemporary defense environment.
