Mario Lelovsky (onsite)

The first vice-president of ITAS and the first vice-president of the Republican Union of Employers. Graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Department of Cybernetics and Control Engineering in 1988. From 1991 to 2013, he led the companies of the BaSys Group, a distributor of premium consumer electronics in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He has been operating in the field of intelligent building control systems (SMART) since 2000, and his company Media Control provides integrated design, comprehensive implementation as well as servicing of technical equipment for intelligent buildings. He is the author and investor of the First demonstration intelligent low – energy house – iDOM project. In 2014 he became the president of ITAS, in 2017 he was elected the position of the first vice-president and re-elected in 2019. He is involved in several Slovak and international institutions in the field of support and development of the IT sector, digital skills, education and business. He is Vice-Chair of the Digital Skills Committee at DigitalEurope, the umbrella organization for the digital industry across the EU. Since 2014, he has been the vice-president of RÚZ and a member of the committees for the economy, labor and the environment. In 2018, he was elected the first vice-president of RÚZ, where he heads the subcommittee on the digital economy. He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SEWA a.s. dealing with the collection and recycling of electrical waste. In September 2017, during the first meeting of the Digital Coalition, he was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Digital Coalition of the Slovak Republic and in 2019 he became the president of the non-profit organization Ukraine-Slovak Center in Kiev
