CYBERSEC Programme Director, Research Director, the Kosciuszko Institute
Since 2018 at the Kosciuszko Institute, where he leads CYBERSEC cooperation with the private sector and is responsible for strategic relationships with the world’s leading ICT companies. In 2018 he was a BlueBook trainee at the European Defence Agency, European Synergies and Innovation Directorate. Michał is a PhD candidate at the Department of National Security of the Jagiellonian University, where he researches European Strategic Autonomy, strategic dimension of EU policies, digital sovereignty and role of emerging technologies in international security. In 2020 Michał has received The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship from the Tokyo Foundation. Recipient of numerous academic grants and scholarships to conduct research at the Europe’s leading universities. Frequent presenter at the international conferences in political science and author of publications on security and geopolitics. Michał studied at the Jagiellonian University, Sciences Po (Paris School of International Affairs) and the National University of Singapore.
