Amb. Krzysztof Paturej

Ambassador Krzysztof PATUREJ, President of the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security (ICCSS), Warsaw, Poland (www.iccss.eu), a former Polish diplomat, former chair of the Policy Making Organs of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and senior official at the OPCW Technical Secretariat (2006-2013).
Amb. Paturej is a recognized international figure in international security, chemical and environmental safety and security, efforts against CBRN terrorism, result based management and risk management strategies, and industrial cybersecurity and reliability.
He initiated the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security (ICCSS) which offers integrated solutions in chemical and environmental safety and security and cybersecurity at national, regional and global levels. Today ICCSS is an international leader in integrated approach to chemical and environmental safety and security and industrial cybersecurity at national, regional and global levels. Being member of G7 Global Partnership, ICCSS operationalizes and internationalizes best practice, capacity building and cooperation among professionals to reduce chemical threat and promote peaceful uses of chemistry. ICCSS conducts projects on civil protection and reducing chemical threat in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Under his leadership, ICCSS has developed an integrated approach of cybersecurity and reliability which develops 3 processes: a unique training program to enhance resilience against cyber threat; Manual on Good Practices on Cybersecurity and Reliability in Industry; introduction of professional market competences in cyber security and reliability in the industry
