The first CYBERSEC event to be held in Washington, DC will focus on fostering transatlantic digital cooperation between the United States and Three Seas Region.

On 19 March 2019, CYBERSEC Washington Leaders’ Foresight will bring together high-level EU and U.S. officials, representatives of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) countries, and business, academia, and NGO leaders. The aim of the CYBERSEC event in Washington is to advance greater political, business, and security synergies between the United States and the 3S Region by developing digital and cybersecurity cooperation. With the 3 Seas Digital Highway (3SDH) as a cornerstone of the initiative, the development of a cyber resilient digital infrastructure project will enable better and more secure data transfers within the entire Central East European region. “It is important to ensure that the Digital Highway remains not only an idea, but that it is actually implemented,” underlined Marek Zagórski, Polish Minister of Digital Affairs during CYBERSEC Forum 2018 in Krakow.
