Izabela Albrycht

She co-founded and since 2014 she has been leading the European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC, in 2021 she held the position of Chair of the Programme Committee. She was Chair of the Kosciuszko Institute from 2010 to 2021.

In July 2020 she was appointed by NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg as a member of the NATO Advisory Group for Emerging and Disruptive Technologies. In December 2021 she became a member of the Advisory Group to the President of the Republic of Poland on security and defence issues. Between 2016 and 2018, she chaired the Council for Digitization in the Ministry of Digital Affairs and she is now its member in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

In 2017, she became member of the Supervisory Board of Asseco Poland S.A. and in 2019 of ComCERT S.A. In 2020 she started a two-year term as a Member of the Executive Board in DIGITAL EUROPE representing Polish National Trade Associations: Polska Izba Informatyki i Telekomunikacji – PIIT, Związek Cyfrowa Polska, KIGEiT – Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza Elektroniki i Telekomunikacji. Between 2019-2020 she was a member of Global Future Council on Cybersecurity in the World Economic Forum. She is a co-founder of Women4Cyber in the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and Polish Cybersecurity Cluster #CyberMadeInPoland.

Izabela is a political scientist, graduate of the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Co-author of reports, publications and analyses focusing on issues related to EU policies, international relations, cybersecurity and digital technologies. In 2017 listed among the 100 Eastern Europe’s emerging technology stars announced by Financial Times & New Europe 100. She was ranked as one of “50 leading European Women in Cybersecurity for 2019” on the list developed by SC Media UK.
