Artur Kozłowski graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology and completed postgraduate studies in the range of computer networks, microcomputer systems and databases as well as management of a modern organization. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences at the Institute of Electrical Power of the Wroclaw University of Technology. He is certified for PRINCE2 project management. Professor A. Kozłowski has acquired a lot of experience in scientific and research projects, in commercialization of their results and in implementation works. He has been a manager and chief executive of research, development, targeted and strategic projects. Author and co-author of devices and systems for power supply and control of machinery and equipment deployed in industry; patent applications and patents granted; several dozen articles published in national and international technical journals. Prof. Kozłowski works for the ŁUKASIEWICZ Research Network - Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG, the only ICT institute in Silesia. Recently, he was responsible for ŁUKASIEWiCZ - EMAG’s department involved in risk management, information security, and business continuity, as well as laboratory testing, standardization and certification. He served as member of steering committees of projects related to IT, telecommunications and security, e.g. National Scheme for Evaluation and Certification of IT Products Security according to Common Criteria (KSO3C); Regional Cyber Security Centre (RegSOC). Artur Kozłowski is a member of many associations, technical committees, scientific committees, organizational committees, scientific boards, expert boards, and technical commissions. He holds official functions in some of them.
